Gond Laddu

Curry Patta

Gond Laddu

A popular sweet from India, dense in nutrients and consumed during winters. Gond laddu is made using edible gum in a deep iron kadhai. These are often made on special occasions like weddings, festivals, and pooja. Ladoos are packed in boxes and given to the guests who arrive at the function. Ladoos have been mentioned in Ayurveda for being nutritious and are still given to new mothers or pregnant women. They have flour, dry fruits, ghee, and sugar or jaggery which makes it a power pack of nutrients and healthy carbs.

Madhu Jalan is a housewife, who is very passionate about cooking. The brand started as a catering service for nearby places, events, functions, etc. After a while, people started noticing how good her cooking is and she become locally very famous. After COVID's first wave, her daughter, Drishti Jalan took the brand online and they started selling ready-to-eat snacks (This was probably because no events or functions were going on after COVID). Curry Patta is a proper homemade brand and now they started catering again.
