
It's summer again, scorching heat and hot weather kill the appetite for regular food. We just want to drink lots of chilled aerated drinks and eat lots of ice-creams, but is it healthy?? You know the answer! What if we give you some really quick and easy recipes that are tasty, refreshing, and healthy. Now that's a jackpot!
BREAKFAST PARFAIT
There is no yummier way to beat the summer heat and satisfy cravings than starting your day with a PARFAIT!

INGREDIENTS:-
Fruits like strawberries, blueberries, grapes, mango, or cranberries (seasonal fruits of your choice)
Frozen Yogurt
Nuts and dry fruits
Dried berries or fruits (OPTIONAL)
Rolled oats/Granola/Muesli
Sugar/Jaggery Powder/Honey (a/c to Taste)
STEPS:-
Add a scoop of fresh or frozen yogurt.
Add some fresh seasonal fruits of your choice on top of the yogurt layer.
Repeat the above steps until you reach the rim of the glass.
Top it all with some crunchy muesli/oats or granola.
Freeze for some time and enjoy chilled.
COLD SALAD
What's better than a quick snack that is crunchy cold hydrating and delicious?

INGREDIENTS:-
Bell peppers ( red, yellow)
Capsicum
Cherry tomatoes ( yellow, red, orange)
Broccoli
Bok choy
Lettuce
Corns
Baby corns
Peas (boiled/frozen)
Ketchup
Dressing of your choice
Oregano seasoning
Salt and pepper
Coriander
Sliced lives (black)
Malai (full cream)
STEPS:-
Chop all the veggies into big pieces
Take a large salad bowl and put all the veggies inside
Add these
Malai (full cream)
Ketchup
Dressing
Oregano
Salt and pepper
Mix well and add coriander
Cover and keep it in the fridge for some time before consuming
Taste best when cold
FRUIT SHAKES/SMOOTHIES
How amazing are smoothies when served chilled with ice and fresh fruits? The best part is you can make these with almost any fruit available in your home!

INGREDIENTS:-
Fruit of your choice (seasonal preferred)
Un-Refined Sugar or jaggery powder
Cold Milk
Dry Fruits or Dried Fruits
STEPS:-
Cut fruits into small pieces (peel off the skin and remove any seeds).
Take a Mixer Jar and put the fruit pieces.
Add brown sugar or jaggery powder.
Add half a cup of milk and grind it all into a thick paste.
Add more milk as per the servings and grind again.
Stop when a rich smooth consistency is achieved.
Pour in shake glasses and garnish with ground dry fruits.
Place the glasses in the freezer for a while and serve chilled.
HOMEMADE COFFEE/COCOA ICECREAM

INGREDIENTS:-
1000 ml Milk
1 Tsp Coffee
6 spoon Milk Powder
Sugar according to taste
STEPS:-
Boil milk till it remains 1/3rd of the total
Keep stirring occasionally
Mix milk powder in some milk and add the mixture to boiling milk
Mix it well and keep stirring
Add sugar and mix well
Mix coffee in some milk and add the mixture to the boiling milk
Turn the heat off and let the milk cool down
Blend the milk mixture in a mixer
Keep the mixture in a closed box or tray and refrigerate for 1 hr
Take out the mixture and blend it again 4 to 5 times in the mixer
Refrigerate the final mixture in an ice cream tray
Sprinkle some dry fruits and nuts on the top
Voila! Homemade ice cream is ready
Store and eat
AVOCADO BOAT SALAD

INGREDIENTS:-
Avocado
Iceberg Lettuce
Cherry Tomatoes
Grated Carrot
Sprouts
Red Cabbage Shreds
Dressing of your choice
STEPS:-
Extract lettuce leaves in boat shape
Cut the avocado into small cubes
Lay the veggies and fill the boat
Add cabbage shreds and sprouts
Sprinkle salt and pepper
Add dressing of your choice
Refrigerate for a while
Serve with Dip
