A date night is all about celebrating love and going that extra mile to express our feelings most exceptionally. We all have plans and want to make exquisite arrangements for that special someone.
Some prefer to go out on a date, some plan a vacation, but most of us prefer staying at home, preparing a nice dinner, and just Netflix and chill. With our day-to-day responsibilities and the workload, it can be tiresome to engage in the kitchen for hours and prepare exotic dishes.
Don't worry we have got you sorted by bringing in some easy to cook yet unique dishes that can add flavors to your special day. With just a little effort, make your date a memorable one.
Chicken Salami Egg Sandwich
This super tasty sandwich looks amazing and is easy and fast to cook.
Ingredients
Chicken salami
4 Eggs
Six bread slices ( wheat bread preferred)
6 pc of sliced bell peppers, one of each color
2 cheese slice
Lettuce (salad patta)
4 pc cherry tomatoes
Oregano seasoning
Ketchup
Dressing/spread of your choice
STEPS
Take a wide mouth bowl and beat the four eggs nicely.
Dip the bread slices and soak them in the batter one by one.
Grill the chicken salami and bell pepper slices in a grill toaster or a grill pan, or cook them on Tawa till charred.
Take a non-stick pan and preheat with the oil of your choice.
Cook the bread slices one by one from both sides until brown.
Keep them aside and leave only two slices in the pan.
Spread the dressing on one of the bread and place the lettuce leaves and sliced bell pepper and cover it with another slice.
Spread ketchup on the top slice and put cheese and chicken salami and cover it with the third slice and cook them from both sides.
Repeat the process of making another sandwich.
Cut them into two and pierce a toothpick with cherry half tomato and serve with the wafer.
Palak & Mushroom sauce pasta
Pasta and wine are symbolic of date night and serve a perfect valentine's dinner. our recipe is not any regular pasta but is one that is tasty and with lesser ingredients
Ingredients
Boiled palak
Diced mushroom
Boiled penne pasta ( Al-Dante)
Milk
Refined sugar
Butter
Oregano seasoning
Chopped spring onions
Chopped garlic cloves
Chopped coriander
Black pepper
Salt
Ketchup
Cheese
Steps
Take a pan and melt butter.
Add one spoon of refined flour and roast it till brown.
Add chopped onions, red chili and garlic cloves stir fry.
Add diced mushroom and stir till it starts losing water.
Add chopped palak and stir well.
Now add milk and stir well till all the lumps are dissolved and a thick consistency is achieved.
Add pepper, salt and ketchup mix well.
Now add cheese and oregano seasoning.
Serve with garlic bread or buns.
Egg Salad
Quick, easy, healthy, and tasty this is a perfect meal for all our gym-going and fitness freak couples.
Ingredients
Boiled egg
Coriander
Garlic chutney/Schezwan sauce
Oregano Seasoning
Chopped onions
Diced green chili
Mix masala (salt, pepper, red chili, dhaniya powder)
Cabbage leaves
STEPS
Take a big salad bowl
Cut boiled eggs into small pieces
Add chopped onions
Sprinkle mix masala
Add coriander and mix well
Take a plate place the cabbage leaves and place the salad on it
Add some garlic chutney and sprinkle oregano seasoning
Fresh Cream Cold Salad
We got a healthy version of salad for those who love salads to pour your wine and have this refreshing salad.
INGREDIENTS
Bell peppers ( red, yellow)
Capsicum
Cherry tomatoes ( yellow, red, orange)
Broccoli
Bok choy
Lettuce
Corns
Baby corns
Peas (boiled/frozen)
Ketchup
Dressing of your choice
Oregano seasoning
Salt and pepper
Coriander
Sliced lives (black)
Malai (full cream)
STEPS
Chop all the veggies into big pieces
Take a large salad bowl and put all the veggies inside
Add these
Malai (full cream)
Ketchup
Dressing
Oregano
Salt and pepper
Mix well and add coriander
Cover and keep it in the fridge for some time before consuming
Taste best when cold
Chili Cheese Toasties
This scrumptious dish is a total show-stealer, the easiest of all recipes, and yet melts in your mouth like molten cheese.
Ingredients
Bread slices
Grated cheese
Milk
Chopped chilies
Cherry tomatoes cut into two
Oregano seasoning
Coriander
Steps
Take a bowl and put grated cheese.
Add chopped chilies and oregano seasoning.
Add a little bit of milk, enough to make a thick paste (Note- adding too much milk can make the paste drain)
Add tomato ketchup or sauce of your choice.
Mix everything well to make a thick consistent paste.
Take a bread slice and spread the paste evenly.
Put half-cut cherry tomatoes on the bread.
Repeat the same for the rest of the slices.
Place the bread in a pre-heat oven.
Grill till the bread turns golden brown and the cheese is molten and charred.
Serve on a plate and garnish with coriander and chat masala( as per taste)
Avoid overheating
